MACKIE- HIS STORY, IN HIS OWN WORDS:

.I am so thankful I am here to tell my story. About 10 months ago I was born and have been a stray kitty. Thank goodness there were some nice people in the neighborhood who gave me food and water. One very dark night a car hit me. Three people found me in the road bleeding from my mouth, foot & hip.

A nice Rescue Lady came along & the three persons who found me told her I was a stray, so she immediately rushed me to the emergency vet. I had to have surgery to wire my fractured chin, put stitches in my foot, clean my wounds on my hip and I was neutered.

The Rescue Lady's neighbor who is a nurse took care of me while I healed and found me a great home.

I was so lucky the Rescue Lady came along because the neighbors had called the police to pick me up and I would have probably been euthanized. I love her & my Special Nurse who helped me.

My chin wire was removed after one month and my foot and hip are well now.

I thank everyone who helped me be here today!  Special thanks to Sheng-Wen Huang and
Linda Muzyczka, who donated to Mackie’s care.
